Bedding and custom orders are non-refundable but are guaranteed to be free from
damage. In short, when you see your purchase for the first time, we want you
to be just as excited about it as we were when we discovered the items ourselves.
Please note that many of the Asian furniture and decor that we carry is either
hand made, an antique, or made of environmentally conscientious reclaimed woods,
making each item subject to minor blemishes and color variance. These imperfections are what give
our products their charm and are big reason why so many of our customers keep
coming back for more! Our furniture is made from some of the most beautiful
wood on earth and we strive to preserve its natural beauty.
Low Price Guarantee
Most items found at Tansu are unique to us but if you do find the same
item for less at another retailer we will beat any advertised price. Item must
be new and price must include equivalent shipping and all applicable charges.
We want you to feel comfortable that you are getting the perfect Asian furniture
at the perfect price.
How to request a return
To request a return, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, order number and
reason for return. All returns must be requested within 10 days of receiving
your order and on the way back within 14 days. Once we receive your request, for approved returns,
we will promptly contact you and give you a return authorization number and
return address. Customer will be responsible for repackaging the items. Please
clearly write your return authorization number on the side of all pieces of your return or
your package will not be accepted by our receiving department and no refund will be issued. Customers are
responsible for ALL shipping charges on returned items. On items with "Free
Shipping" promotions, if you choose to make a return, you will be refunded the full amount paid for the returned items less actual shipping costs to and from your home. We will make all of the shipping arrangements for you. Please note if you have small doorways, halls or elevators, or a specific place in your home that you intend to place a piece of furniture, some boxes/pieces may not fit. Please call for exact dimensions if you are concerned. Orders that will not fit into a customers home will be subject to this return policy and are not the responsibility of Tansu.net. We do not charge any restocking or processing
fees and are here to ensure you love the furniture you receive!
Customer agrees to not hold Tansu.net responsible for delays caused by vendors, manufacturer or carriers. Specialty made and back order items can be delayed due to customs and demand. Customers will be notified via e-mail as soon as we foresee a delay. We are dedicated to delivering your order before the estimated delivery time expires but we cannot always control third party situations. Delays are not a right for cancellation or return and are subject to our cancellation and return policies.
How to report damage or defects
If your order arrives with damage please call us immediately. If we
can not be reached, in most cases it is best to keep the items so you can use
them until an exchange can be sent. Please take good care of the items. Most deliveries require signatures to accept.
Please note any and all damages to packaging and/or products
before signing for your order. If after delivery, you later notice that your
item was damaged in shipping or has meaningful defects please send an e-mail
to us within three business days of receiving your order and include pictures
of the damage so we can report to our shipper.
"White Glove Deliveries" (with setup Service)
For damage reported within 3 days, we will replace or repair damaged
and defective items at no cost to you. Damage/defects beyond 3 days will be dealt with on a case by case basis. After 90 days, Tansu.net will not be responsible for any defects or damage.
"LTL Shipments" (without setup service)
Despite any pressure from hurried delivery drivers for you to simply sign for your package, YOU MUST INSPECT ALL ITEMS. This includes noting all damages to packaging and opening the boxes to inspect the contents as well. Any damage to the product that is not noted on the bill of lading will be the responsibility of the customer if the damages are transit related. Proper notation on the Bill of Lading is the only way for Tansu.net to receive compensation and resolve transit-related issues. By accepting damaged merchandise you are in no way accepting responsibility for the damage as long as you clearly follow the steps for delivery above (see Product Inspection). It is the responsibility of Tansu.net to replace or fix damaged or defective items at no cost to you when damage has been noted properly. We take your satisfaction seriously and will immediately take action to fix or replace damaged items.
Customers who choose to arrange their
own shipping are responsible for the item once it leaves our possession.
Order cancellation policy
Orders cancelled prior to shipping but after billing will be charged a cancellation
fee equal to 10% of the total invoice amount. Orders cancelled or refused after
items have shipped will be charged 10% of the total invoice and all shipping
and packaging losses incurred by Tansu in good faith. Though we are very dedicated
to our delivery estimates, delays can occur and late delivery is not an reason
to cancel without penalty. We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason at any time.
Sales Contract: The entire sales contract between you and our company will be set forth in the invoice and/or accompanying or referenced documents and emails provided by us. To guarantee accuracy oral statements made by any employees or personal shall not be relied upon as part of the sales contract. Only written statements, facts and policies are considered part of the contract.
CA residents pay sales tax.
“Free Shipping” applies to the lower 48 US States. Outside of the lower 48 US States shipping is charged based on weight and freight class, please call for a shipping quote.
